金秋送爽，丹桂飘香，又到一年月圆时。值此佳节来临之际，为了让幼儿更好的感受中秋节的传统文化，体验过节的快乐，宋庆龄国际幼儿园开展了中秋主题系列活动。

The time of cool autumn air and falling of leaves has once again met the full moon. As we near time for the festival, we wish to let the children experience the joy and culture of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Soong Ching Ling International Kindergarten has launched a series of fun and engaging activities following the theme of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

“中秋节是怎么来的呢？”“为什么叫中秋节呢？”为了让孩子了解中秋节的由来及风俗习惯，老师们通过生动的故事，有趣的谜语、丰富的游戏，让孩子们了解中秋节的传统文化，知晓中秋节的习俗趣事。嫦娥奔月、吴刚伐桂、月兔捣药......中秋节有好多有趣的小故事，让我们一起来分享吧！

"How did the Mid-Autumn Festival come about?" "Why is it called the Mid-Autumn Festival?" In order to let children know the origin and customs of the Mid-Autumn Festival, teachers engaged the children through stories, riddles, and games. This allowed the children to understand the traditional culture of the Mid-Autumn Festival in a fun way. We learned about important characters like Chang E Benyue, Wu Gang Kong Gui,  and Yuetu Shen Yao. The Mid-Autumn Festival has many interesting stories, let's share them together!

孩子们和老师、同伴一起，充分发挥自己的想象力，制花灯、做玉兔、画月饼，感受幼儿园这个大家庭的团圆与快乐。

Children and teachers, companions, celebrated in creative ways by making lanterns, forming jade rabbits, and drawing mooncakes. All of which brought us together to collaborate.

孩子们个个兴趣盎然，在老师的指导下，有模有样地擀皮、放馅、团压。月饼香味飘满了整个幼儿园，孩子们愉快地与小伙伴一起品尝着自己的劳动果实，并把这份快乐带回家与家人分享。

Through the teacher’s guidance we work to roll and mold the dough, place the filling, and pinch and roll it together. The smell of mooncakes are wafting through the kindergarten, and the children are happy to share the fruits of their labors with their friends and family at home.

中秋的月儿圆圆、中秋的月饼香香，中秋的话儿甜甜，中秋的快乐多多……幼儿园的中秋节主题活动，不仅让孩子们了解了中国传统节日的许多习俗，更让孩子学会了分享、体验了活动带来的乐趣。

The Mid-Autumn festival has many traditions that celebrate the moon, mooncakes, and the value of happiness. Our goal at the kindergarten is to not only let children know many customs of Chinese traditional festivals, but also let children learn and share experience fun activities.
