九月的早晨，清凉的空气弥漫在城市中的每个角落，小雨滴温柔而闲散地洒落在草地上。今天，宋庆龄国际幼儿园常州园的大班哥哥姐姐们来到景色优美的香树湾高尔夫球场，去体验打高尔夫球的欢快。 

On a cool and rainy day in September the oldest children of Soong Ching Ling International Kindergarten visited the Xiangshu Bay golf course to experience the fun of golf.

高尔夫”是GOLF的音译，由四个英文词汇的首字母缩写构成。它们分别是： Green, Oxygen, Light, Friendship。意思是"绿色，氧气，阳光，友谊"，它是一种把享受大自然乐趣、体育锻炼和游戏集于一身的运动。 

We can make golf into an acronym that reminds us of what we can achieve through the sport. G.O.L.F could stand to mean, Green, Oxygen, Light, and Friendship. Reminding us again of what we can experience when we play golf.

 孩子们在老师的带领下，一路歌声悠扬、笑语不断，乘校车来到了高尔夫球场。一走进球场，放眼望去是一片绿油油的草坪，阵阵微风吹过，闭上眼，却有种说不出的恬静。 

The children enjoyed a lovely bus ride with their teachers as they made their way to the golf course. When they entered the golf course they could see the lush green concourse, feel a light breeze on their faces, and take a breath of fresh air.

在教练的带领下，孩子们首先复习高尔夫球杆的构造、站姿及握杆的方法之后，开始尝试展示优美的姿势及完美的动作，在过程中，孩子们有着永不气馁的精神，小小的挫折，提高大大的自信心。 

The golf coaches discussed the parts of a golf club as well how to properly grid their golf clubs. Of course proper posture had to be discussed as it is essential to golf. In the process and practice of these skills the children tried their best and never felt discouraged thanks to the coaching they received.

一上午的体验结束了，孩子们恋恋不舍的离开了这个迷人的高尔夫球场。在孩子成长的路上每一次体验都会是他最宝贵的财富！教育就是要走出去，孩子才能收获更多........ 

After the excitement of the morning, the children reluctantly boarded the school bus again. Hands-on experiences like this one are great opportunities to enhance learning. We hope to children more of these experiences in the future…..
