The Chinese flag is the symbol of the People's Republic of China. We teach our students to protect and respect our nation’s flag, to love our motherland. Monday's flag raising ceremony is a sacred moment that the children look forward to each week.

每个星期一的早上，宋庆龄国际幼儿园都会举行例行的升旗仪式。无论春、夏、秋、冬，只要天气情况允许，爱国教育每周在这里开始。 

Every Monday morning, the kindergarten holds a routine flag raising ceremony. Regardless of spring, summer, autumn and winter, patriotic education begins here every week as long as weather conditions permit.

作为光荣的护旗手，手中握着鲜红的五星红旗，个个精神饱满，自豪感油然而生。

升旗仪式马上开始，宝贝们已经准备就绪！

The five-star, red flag is in their hands, and everyone is full of energy and pride. The flag-raising ceremony begins immediately and the children are ready!

今天的升旗仪式结束了，通过周一的升旗活动，可以让宝贝们加深对祖国的认识，知道国旗是中华人民共和国的标志，代表着祖国的形象，懂得要爱护国旗，珍惜国旗，是一次非常好的爱国主义教育。
