寒假过去，又一个新的学期开始，消防安全却依旧是让我们每个人时刻谨记的话题。为了进一步提高幼儿及教职工的消防安全意识，持续深化幼儿园的消防安全教育工作，保障人身和财产安全，宋庆龄国际幼儿园常州园展开 "开学第一课"——消防安全，铭记心间”的系列教育活动。
It’s a new semester, and fire safety continues to be one of the kindergarten’s main concerns. This week, Soong Ching Ling International Kindergarten launched a series of fire safety educational activities in order to raise awareness of fire safety among young children and staff.

春节过后，我们即将迎来多风干燥的早春气候，学校组织全体教师进行了消防安全教育培训，深化教师的消防安全意识，能做到自觉筛查消防隐患，火情发生不慌张，有序疏散懂自救。
After Spring Festival, the weather is typically windy and dry. Schools ask that all teachers conduct fire safety education and training, to deepen teachers' awareness of fire safety and be able to consciously screen for fire hazards.

培训后，后勤消防安全负责人带领我们保安细心排查园所内的方方面面，排除不规范用电和易燃物堆积引起的火灾隐患，进一步打造“0”忧患园所。
After the training, the headmaster led the person in charge of fire safety to carefully check every aspect of the park to help eliminate fire hazards caused by non-standard electricity and combustible accumulation, and to help in creating a "zero worry” campus.

各班教师组织幼儿开展消防安全课程，让幼儿认识火，了解火的利和害；触摸消防器材，学习使用方法；讲解报警等。
Teachers in all classes taught fire safety courses so that children can learn about fire, both the harms and benefits. Students were able to interact with fire-fighting equipment and learn how to use it, and now have a better understanding of the alarm and evacuation methods.
老师告诉孩子们全国消防报警电话是119，教会孩子们如何正确拨打报警电话和说清楚家庭住址。并让孩子们和老师一起模拟与消防叔叔通电话的过程。
The teacher told the children that the national fire alarm number was 119, teaching them how to call the police correctly and tell them their home address. Then the children and students simulated a conversation with emergency services.
