Today at SCL, the children along with the teachers began to put up and decorate their classrooms and Christmas trees! Christmas is only a couple weeks away! Putting the Christmas decorations on the tree get the children into the holiday spirit! They are very interested in putting on the colorful balls, stars, angels, ribbons and snowflakes. The children have decorated their respective classrooms with their own crafts!

Let's talk a little about the Christmas tree! The tree was traditionally decorated with edibles such as apples, nuts, or other foods. Today, there is a wide variety of traditional ornaments, such as garlands, baubles, tinsel, and candy canes. An angel or star might be placed at the top of the tree.

Christmas isn’t just about the Christmas tree but also focuses about family, and love for many people. Also many people around the world celebrate the winter solstice!
