九月九，重阳到。重阳：一个登高望远、品糕赏菊的日子，一个敬老爱老的日子。在这个特殊的日子里，宋庆龄国际幼儿园开展了“重阳节”系列主题活动。
Today is “Double Ninth Day”also known as Chongyang day.
It is a day for people to eat Chongyang cake, drink chrysanthemum wine, climb mountains, and pay homage tochrysanthemums. Today at the kindergarten we held many activities and storiesabout Chongyang day.
活动中大班的宝贝们通过熟悉了加工重阳糕的材料和工序。孩子们在亲自动手操作中获得了更多快乐体验，也使中华民族的传统习俗变得更有意义。
The kids of IK5 had known the ways how to make Chongyang cakes.The kids were very excited and happy to participate in today's activities. They learned about the traditional customs of this day.
围绕重阳节中班的宝贝们开展了“我为爷爷奶奶做贺凳”“我为外婆外公做贺卡”，引导幼儿学会尊敬老人、长辈；懂得关心他人。 IK4 made cards and chairs for their grandpas and grandmas. By making these gifts ， the children have an understanding of the importance of their elders.

托小班的弟弟妹妹们也不示弱，他们利用太空泥制作重阳糕和花朵，一份份可爱精美的重阳糕，一句句甜甜温馨的祝福，孩子们在活动中获得了更多快乐。 IK3 and IK2 made Play-Doh Chongyang cakes today in their classes.The kids gave their best wishes to their elders.The children are very happy from the activities.

When grandpas and grandmas recieve thier gifts they will be very happy.
相信通过此次丰富多彩的重阳节主题活动，在孩子们内心深处一定会埋下一颗懂得珍惜、理解关爱、学会感恩的种子。 “让爱一起成长”，让中华美德在孩子们心中传承。 We believe that through these colorful Festival activities, they will influence the children greatly.
