探索发现新奇趣—SCL教研活动

科学活动是一种重要的自主探索活动,在科学活动中幼儿亲自动手操作,既可以培养幼儿学科学的兴趣,激发孩子的好奇心,发展他们的自信心、主动性、独立性和创造性,又可以提高幼儿在科学活动中发现问题和解决问题的能力。今天,我园小班组两位老师展开了两堂精彩有趣的科学活动。

Scientific activities are important as they promote independence and exploration of the natural world. It not only cultivates children's interest in science but arouses curiosity, independence, and enquiry. Scientific activities also allow for children to find problems and ask questions, then in turn try solving those problems or answer the questions that they had. Today, two teachers of Soong Ching Ling taught interesting science based lessons. 

《指南》指出:3-4岁幼儿应具有初步探索能力,能运用多种感官或动作去探索物体,关注动作所产生的结果。水是孩子们最喜欢玩的,那怎样让玩水变得有意义呢?刘老师设计了这堂关于“溶解”的科学课,让孩子们在操作中初步感知“溶解”,也体验科学实验带来的乐趣。

The curriculum states that children between the ages of 3 and 4 should be able to explore objects using multiple senses or motions, and to focus on the results of actions. How can we look at water in a new and interesting way? Teacher Liu designed this science lesson on "dissolving" to give children an introduction to science and experiments.

日常生活中,大部分幼儿接触过磁铁,比如班级里的区域牌、阅读角的自制绘本等,幼儿对磁铁感到好奇,喜欢用磁铁去吸各种事物,具有初步的探索欲望,张老师设计本次活动,通过幼儿亲自动手操作,发现磁铁的特性,激发幼儿的探索欲望。

Most of the children have been exposed to magnets, such as area cards in the class and self-made picture books at the reading corner. Teacher Zhang designed a hands-on activity for the children to discover the characteristics of magnets. 

活动结束后我园教师针对两节科学活动进行了集体研讨,从活动目标、教学内容、活动准备、教学方法等等各个方面做出点评与建议,最后胡园长对两位老师的科学活动提出了具体指导,强调基于课程游戏化背景下,科学活动的广度、深度、准确度与科学材料的选择,教学活动要打通课内外的融合,来源于幼儿生活,运用于幼儿生活。

每一次公开教研活动都是每一位教师自我锻炼、展示风采的舞台,通过活动促使每一位老师相互学习、取长补短,有效促进我园教师教学的积极性、成长性。

After the activity, our teacher conducted a group discussion over the classroom activities. They discussed the objective, content, planning and preparation observed in the lesson. Director Hu provided guidance to the teachers, based on their lessons. Director Hu discussed the importance of science within the curriculum, and choosing content and materials in order for the children to meet their learning goals. It is important that our teaching activities integrate what children know in and out of the classroom.
