The Chinese-teacher led class was held to help improve the children's mathematical ability, fully explore the value of mathematics education, and constantly improve the professional qualities of teachers in mathematics. SCL hosts open classes each week to strengthen teacher’s methods and promote the exchange of experiences among teachers at the school.
大班幼儿对扑克牌十分的感兴趣,殷老师根据幼儿的兴趣特点设计了《纸牌游戏》活动。活动中殷老师利用扑克牌里的数序以及在玩牌过程中需要的逻辑性来组织活动。她利用纸牌常具有的魔术形式与幼儿产生互动。Kindergarten children are very interested in playing cards. Teacher Yin designed a card game, using the natural number order of playing cards and the logic needed in the game to organize a sequence. The teaching method presents a variety of features and fully mobilizes young children to participate in activities — the students were enthusiastic and took initiative.
幼儿根据教师的提示“大了”“小了”“是”“不是”进行逻辑推理,来判断什么牌是“需要”,什么牌是“不需要的”。According to the teacher's prompts, the children logically reasoned through responses such as "bigger,” "smaller," "yes, and "no" to judge what cards are needed and what cards are not needed.
设置的环节层层递进,重点、难点突出,教学方法呈现出多元化的特点,充分调动幼儿参与活动的积极性和主动性。
羊老师执教的《超级擂台赛》讲述了山羊公公举行"超级擂台赛"招聘保护羊群守卫的故事。整个活动紧紧围绕招聘守卫线索展开,凸现4次不同形式的招聘过程带来的趣味与智慧的感受。以招聘广告导入活动,简单明了,旨在揭示问题,引发思考。Today's activities are as follows: In the second open class, Teacher Sheep used a story to help narrate a math problem, which fully utilized students’ critical thinking skills.
通过故事,让幼儿观察、比较、分析并运用已有的数学知识和经验,解决故事中的问题,完善和丰富故事情节,领会故事的主题思想。使幼儿在数量、身高、重量、时间等比较中,获得适度的挑战。Through stories, children can observe, compare, analyze, and apply existing mathematics knowledge and experience to solve problems.
活动结束后,老师们进行了教学研讨,大家从目标制定、重点难点划分、教学程序等方面进行深入探讨,活动中也存在部分不足,执教教师也虚心接受了大家提出的建议,并针对存在的问题提出改进的方法。
After the classes, the teachers held a meeting to discuss the classes objectives, key difficulties, and teaching procedures. The teachers humbly accepted the suggestions and discussed ways they could improve in the future.
