Today , Teacher Joanna gave a class about “Shapes”in IK3B. She focused on square and circle. Shapes are very important to young children.Just like colors, shapes play a important role in young children’s development.Kids can see objects in thier daily life around them that they can communicate and say in English. Recognizing shapes are not all the same and that there are many different types is important. For example a child looks at tires on a car and say“circle” or they see a window and say “square”. By seeing shapes in thier daily lives puts it in thier perspective. Shapes are a important way for kids to express themselves in artwork and other things.
Joanna’s class was fun and the kids liked to follow along and listen. They played two games to learn circle and square. The kids were very enthusiatic and happy.
In the English meeting today, Joanna gave her analysis of her class . All the English teachers discussed about the class and shared thier thoughts and suggestions. We can learn from each other and move forward!
