Today the English teachers gathered to view an English Class by Anna of IK3B. With this month’s IEYC unit of “Toy Shop” we explored things that children like to play with. In today’s lesson children had a chance to review all of the toy words they have learned in the unit. In this lesson, the children had chances to express what they know about toys through various games. The children played a games where they listened and spoke out in English. This was a great way to wrap up the unit.

In the afternoon the teachers met to discuss the lesson that was observed. Teacher discussions are not only good for guiding new teachers, but for giving opportunities for current teachers to reflect on their teaching practices.  The English teachers reflected on the unit

“Toy Shop” and are ready to move on to our other units of “To the Rescue” and “Once Upon a Time”.
