Today the English teachers observed an English class taught by James. IK4 is studying the unit “Imagine That!” within the IEYC curriculum. In this unit children explore art, art tolls, and expressing themselves through art. James gave a lesson about the mixing of various colors. The children used various materials to mix colors in order to make new ones. The children were excited to use all of these materials and experiment for themselves and worked individually as well as collaboratively to find the results for different combinations of mixed colors.

 After the lesson the English teachers gathered to discuss the lesson. They discussed how useful it is for children to study art and 

art tools, while also getting a chance to experiment on their own to see what results they can get through their experiences as an individual and group.
