Today at Soong Ching Ling we saw an English class taught by Lulu in IK4B. Following the IEYC theme of chattering Children and the topic of Teatime the children explored aspects of teatime. The children learned about tea and teapots, common items in our lives. The children enjoyed games and songs that encouraged them to think and talk about a common beverage that we all enjoy.

After the lesson, the teachers discussed the lesson. The English teachers talked about the value of teaching things that connect to everyday life. It builds upon language that children already know and keeps content relatable.
