Today the English teachers met for a monthly meeting to assess the English learning in the Month of March. During the meeting, the teachers collaborated to complete assessment documents. In order to keep track of past learning we selected learning strand goals that were met and thoughtfully reflected on any steps for improvement. Teachers also brought examples of activities done from the past month.

IK5 shared materials and projects from their IEYC unit of “Dinosaur Detectives”, which is a unit that the children thoroughly enjoyed. IK4 shared materials and pictures from their unit “Chattering Children”, where children experienced activities to communicate and express themselves. 

IK3 and IK2 teachers displayed projects and handcrafts from their “Animal Rescuers” unit to showcase how children learned about animals and their habitats.
