为增强孩子的消防安全意识，从小接受消防知识教育，不断深入对消防知识的了解，增强自我保护能力。宋庆龄国际幼儿园常州园于2019年4月15日下午举行“走进消防大队”主题教育活动。通过走进消防队，让孩子亲们眼见识了各种消防器材和消防车辆，以喜闻乐见的方式让消防知识深入人心。

 In order to enhance children's awareness of fire safety they should receive fire prevention education from an early age. Soong Ching Ling International Kindergarten took a special trip to the fire station. When children first walk into the station they can see the firemen, their fire trucks, and other firefighting equipment.

 在消防员叔叔带领下，孩子们近距离与各种消防器材进行了“亲密接触”。消防员叔叔为孩子们热情、详细地介绍了各种消防器械：防毒面罩、氧气瓶、无齿锯、消防水带等消防装备，并用浅显易懂的语言为孩子们讲述了火灾预防常识及发生火灾时的注意事项。

With guidance of the firemen, the children handled a variety of fire fighting equipment. The children saw fire hoses, oxygen masks, and saws. The firemen introduced the children to the different pieces of equipment and spoke about their purposes. The firemen’s explanation was easy to understand and helps the children better understand fire preventions and precautions.

  消防叔叔让孩子们体验了消防栓喷水，可以根据不同情况发射出不同状态的水，孩子们都忍不住惊叹起来“哇，好神奇啊！”消防员叔叔还详细生动的讲解和示范消防服的穿法和用途，满足了小朋友的好奇之心，小朋友们争先恐后地试戴防护服帽子，一张张小脸上写满了崇敬和喜悦。

The children also got to have hands on experiences at the fire station. The children experienced spraying a fire hose and using different spray settings according to different situations. The children also had a chance to try on a firefighter’s protective gear. These experiences were exciting and memorable for the children.

 在这次活动中，小朋友们通过看一看、听一听、摸一摸，更真切、更全面的了解了消防器械和消防安全知识，增强了消防安全意识，了解了消防官兵的工作和生活，并且更进一步增强了消防安全教育从娃娃抓起的意识，同时消防队员勇敢、守纪的精神品质也将激励着一幼的孩子们健康、快乐成长！

Through this activity, the children gained a better understanding of fire equipment and fire safety. By seeing the equipment, touching it, and hearing advice from the firemen, the children have more tangible awareness of fire safety. The children could learn a lot from the firemen and will hopefully grow up to be as knowledgeable and aware as a firefighter themselves.
