Today, English Open Class was held in IK3B by our foreign English teacher Marina. Following the IEYC unit of "This is Me", Marina had a lesson "Houses that are different". The students had an opportunity to speak about three types of houses and play games based on the original story "Three Little Pigs'. The kids were involved in the story and helped the little pigs in reaching their houses playing a Ribbon game. The whole class was full of fun, laugh and excitement!

After the open class, the English teachers met to discuss Marina's lesson. The teachers agreed that phonics, words and word combinations were very suitable in IK3 level. At the early stage of learning the English language, phonics helps the students to memorize the sounds and words and connect them with their visual images. The topic was fun and relevant and everyone enjoyed the story.
