Right before Christmas, two English teachers Daisy and Doris demonstrated their open classes. 

In December, IK3B has been studying IEYC unit "To the Rescue". One of its parts was the lesson about colors. IK3B's English teacher Daisy invited students in the magic world of colors. Students reviewed the basic colors and learned the new ones. They were admired watching the magic bottles tricks and found the colors in the pictures. Kids also decorated the Christmas tree with the colorful pieces of playdough. By the end of the class everybody said goodbye to all colors. 

IK4B has been following the IEYC unit "Ocean Treasures" for the month of December. Throughout the month students have

learned English words relating to ocean. IK4B's English teacher Doris tought a lesson "Sea Dancers" which was about coral and seaweed. Students sang songs mentioning the sea creatures and played games acting as fish and sharks under the water. They also had a chance to review the types of treasures that could be hidden deep in the ocean. There was a fishing activity where kids could catch seaweed, coral or any fish. Everyone enjoyed the sea journey! 

After the open classes the English teachers met to discuss the lessons. Everyone found the topics of both levels interesting and engaging for young learners. Some recommendations and advices were welcomed at the meeting.
